The Results!
Pingu TAP Day

It turned out to be a great day up on the mountain, with a relatively small turnout! The boys on the tools brought loads of power nonetheless! Objectives for the day were to buff the already sculptured 'Dunbar Line' from the entrance to the ladder drop, with some minor additions, and to get to work a little lower down.

Old drop in to Pingu, with the new line cutting through from riders right
We spent most of our day on the soupy log ride, that seemed that there was no planning in place when originally constructed. Three massive logs lined the trial in parallel, leaving only one small line on the high right hand side, other than forcing a sketchy slippery log ride.

Due to the nature of the position of the logs and their supports, water naturally pooled under and surrounding the logs, consequently collecting years of organic topsoil and mulch matter. Our goal was to remove the impending logs, and several boulders to build some consistency back into that section of trail. And considering it is located just following a nice flowy downhill stretch, imperative to clean up to hold any sort of speed into the next couple of corners!

And the results... Logs gone, rocks rolled away, organics relocated...

Mark giving the final delicate touch!!
Flow down to BAAAM... pump, roll, double... just play!

There's plenty of gold in them rollers too!

Dan, working hard to ensure all riders are pleased!
Dan testing roller gap distance... spot on!!

Head up and check it out and let us know what you think!

Another couple of trail days, and we should see quite the trail transformation!!

Keep tuned to our Facebook page for info on our next event!
